I have written many articles about seo in my blog and all of them works. As seo is very important for blog and website therefore a successful blogger is that who focuses on his blog's seo. Seo includes links optimization, images optimization, post title optimization, tags optimization, post description etc. One important thing for seo is meta codes in blog. With codes you can tell robots about your blog and according to this info they index your blog for example if you want robots to follow and index you blog posts you have to add a meta code for that. So it is also very important for seo. You can find meta codes for blogger in other blogs and sites but they are without explanation, you won't understand how does these codes work. Here in this post I will explain function of each code along with how to add your content keywords,info,data etc. So lets begin, I am starting from meta title as it is the first code, but before that I will tell you where to add the meta codes:
Adding meta codes in blogger:
As we know that all codes of a blog are stored in its templates e.g gadgets codes, ad codes, customization codes so the meta tags are also added in blog template. To add meta code firstgo to your blog, click on template, edit Html, in the Html page click anywhere the Html,search for <head> and paste all meta codes just below it.
Meta title:
Meta title tells robots and crawlers about title of your blog, you can increase your blog traffic by adding keywords of your content in this code. Copy the below code and follow above paragraph to add it in your blog:
<meta content='Write here' name='title'/>
Replace Write here with the title of your blog, try to add keywords of your content so that it help search engines to show results and may be your blog also appear due to keywords in title for example: For 101Helper I have written title 101Helper | Blogger tips,tricks,widgets,tutorials,seo as it explains my blog so now if someone search for blogger seo or blogger tips and tricks my blog will appear in search results.
Meta description:
Meta description helps you to give a summery of your blog's content to search engines, if your blog doesn't have a meta description then there is no chance for your blog to appear in searchresults as it also helps in appearing blogs or sites in search results because when
a search is made in Google it highlights some words either in title or in description so its also helpful to gain more traffic. Replace Write here with your blog's description try to add keywords in this code to get more traffic:

For example: My blog's description is 101Helper.blogspot.com provides you blogger tips, tricks, seo tips, blogging, tutorials, gadgets and widgets for blogger so when someonesearches for seo tips, blogging tutorials or any other keyword in my description my blog will be shown in results, see a demo below:
Meta Keywords:
Meta keywords code holds your content's keywords. It helps search engines to crawl your posts as search engines encounters keywords in a blog. You can add meta code for keywords by copying below code, replace write your keywords here with your contents keywords. Don't add alot of keywords, try to use high value keywords 30-34 keywords are recommended. For example if your blog is about seo then use seo, seo tips, seo latest tips, seo tips for blogs, seo tips 100% working, Google seo tips etc.

Meta Language:
It informs robots about your blog language. If your blog language then copy the below code and paste it directly but if your blog has other languages also such as Portuguese, russian, french etc the use come(,) to separate them. Meta code for language is given below:

Meta Author:
It tells robots and crawlers about blog author or website author. Replace 101Helper with your own author name:
<meta content='101Helper' name='Author'/>
Meta Robots:
There are two different codes for robots. One code tells robots that they are allowed to crawl your pages and the other tells them to index and follow your posts. In first code I have written all which means that all robots(Google, bing, yahoo etc) are allowed to crawl pages and in the second code I have indicated to index and follow my blog. Copy the codes below to help robots crawl, index and follow your blog:

Meta Audience:
It indicates that what should be the age of people who can surf on your blog. I have written all but if your blog has a content for only +18 or +19 you can add it in the code:
