 Garry Sandhu the famous singer was born on 4th of April 1984. He was born with original name Gurmukh Singh who is UK based singer.

At the age of 12, Garry Sandhu took knowledge for Kavishri (a style of singing which is done mostly without musical instruments) under the guidance of Gurmukh Singh Sandhu (husband of Garry’s cousin Jasvir Kaur). While practicing his talent of singing at local Gurdwaras,Garry Sandhu gave an enduring spiritual performance on Platform to begin his journey of musical career.


After getting failed in class 8th, Sandhu decides to quit studying and fortunately comes into contact with some illegal immigration agents. He shifted to Birmingham, U.K. at the age of approx 15-17 with the help of unworthy agents.

Garry Sandhu was motivated and encouraged by his family and friends to pursue his career in singing.

Being settled in Birmingham, arguably the heartland of U.K. Bhangra; Garry Sandhu was in a perfect position to harness his natural talent of vocal gift.

Garry was introduced in the Industry of music by the end of year 2010, after the release of his debut track “Main Nee Peenda “. But the results were not to the level of expectations that he had thought of.

After that he was teamed up with DJ Surinder Rattan who introduced him to Roach Killa and they made huge success with the song titled “Dil De De”. Then he was signed by the popular music producer GV with Spice Media Label. He made huge come back with the track “Brick” which was able to broke many records and managed to hit Mainstream Chart Worldwide.

Meanwhile in Jan 2012, Garry Sandhu was deported back to Punjab for being illegally immigrated un U.K. After that he decided to quit his career in singing after being involved in illegal immigration issue. However the rumor was denied when when music producer GV reported that he is making another track with Garry Sandhu titled “Brick”. A promo of the track was also released that was filmed in Punjab with Garry Sandhu performing in the music video. GV also reported on his Facebook Page, that he and Garry Sandhu are writing another song currently under the title of “Freshie” which is based on Indian students and immigrants in U.K., America and other European Countries.

Later he was signed by Moviebox Record Label, which released his latest song “Ik Gal” in July, 2012.

He is very famous for his Chart topping single “Din Raat” ft. Roach Killa. By the end of the year 2012 Sandhu released his next album “Refresh” (Magic) under Fresh Media Label. The promo of “Tenu Yaad Karke” (Dark Nights) was posted on Garry Sandhu’s Facebook Page. Rupin Kahlon directed the music for the album.
